Can you level concrete in an Illinois winter?

Outdoor work depends on the ground. We don’t lift over frozen subgrade, because once it thaws you can lose the correction. On milder winter days with the ground workable, exterior lifting is fine. Interior floors, basements, and garages we handle all winter since they’re not exposed to the cold. If your problem is outside and the ground’s frozen solid, we’ll usually schedule for a thaw.
