Join us as we display this challenging and rewarding project in Union, IL. In this video, you'll watch a large machinery shed's floor being raised and supported using our innovative polyurethane foam injection technique.

🔹 Project Overview:
Location: Union, Illinois
Challenge: A severely cracked and sunken concrete floor in a machinery shed where heavy equipment is stored and repaired.
Objective: To raise and level the sunken slab, ensuring it can withstand heavy loads.

🔹 Process and Techniques:
We employed our state-of-the-art polyurethane foam injection method, known for its efficiency and effectiveness. The floor presented a unique challenge as it was caught on a steel plate from an adjacent slab. This required trimming for seamless alignment. Additionally, we cut the control joint along the adjacent slab to ensure a completely level surface.

🔹 Outstanding Results:
The sunken slab was successfully raised to level with the adjacent slab. The restored floor is now back to original grade and pitch; capable of supporting heavy machinery like semi-trucks, combines, and heavy farm tractors.

This project is yet another great example of where POLYURETHANE IS THE REQUIRED METHOD for raising and stabilizing settled, sunken concrete surfaces. The City of Crystal Lake was not interested in receiving bids from companies limited to mudjacking materials and equipment.

This project involved injecting a high-density, water-resistant polyurethane material beneath the concrete floor within Crystal Lake City Hall. The material used meets the compressive strength requirements for the Illinois Tollway Authority.

The work was completed in just a few short hours and left the floor ready for unrestricted use as soon as we were done.
