How does polyurethane concrete raising work?

Technicians drill a series of dime-sized ports through the sunken slab, then inject a two-part polyurethane foam underneath it. The foam expands within seconds, fills the voids in the soil, and lifts the concrete back to level. Once the slab reaches the correct height, the small ports are patched, and the surface is ready to use almost immediately.
