Deep Foamjection

Deep Foamjection is a form of polyurethane injection that targets the soil deeper below a slab or structure, not just the void directly under the concrete, to stabilize weak subgrade and fill deep voids.

In depth

Standard foam injection fills the gap immediately beneath a slab. Deep Foamjection goes further, delivering polyurethane into deeper layers of soil that have become loose, saturated, or washed out. As the foam permeates and expands, it densifies the weak soil and restores load-bearing support from below.

This deeper approach is used where instability originates well beneath the surface, for example deep erosion voids near downspouts and drains, soft soils under footings, or ground behind a seawall that has lost fill. It is often paired with surface lifting or void filling to solve both the symptom and the cause.

How Acme applies it. Acme offers Deep Foamjection across many of its lake and river communities where saturated or eroded soils sit well below the slab, restoring support without excavation.

Frequently asked questions

When is Deep Foamjection needed instead of standard lifting?

When the instability is in deeper soil rather than a shallow void directly under the slab, such as deep washout, soft subgrade, or ground loss behind a seawall, deeper injection stabilizes the root cause.

Does Deep Foamjection require digging?

No. Like all polyurethane injection, it is delivered through small ports and hoses, so there is no excavation of the soil it stabilizes.
