Due to poor backfill and compaction during construction, this entire patio settled 5 inches over the course of several years. Backfill issues were evident based on huge voids that were found at the patio’s edge along the home.
Polyurethane Injections – A Superior Repair
After this patio was raised, polyurethane injections were performed along the edge of the home for void filling and stabilization. These measures will guard against future settling and prevent critters from burrowing beneath the patio. Unlike mudjacking, our system requires only a few injection points using very small holes.
